Lion's Gate (n.): an annual cosmic alignment occurring during Leo season, where the Earth, Sirius, and Orion align within the Leo constellation. This alignment creates a potent energetic gateway associated with manifestation, healing, unconditional love, and transformative time-bending.

The other day I wove my way to the table where we make jewelry and picked up a stone. I sat with it. Turned it over in my hand this way and that. Looked under the microscopic light and reflected on the majesty of it. The uniqueness of it. The power it holds in rawness and sweetness. The beauty that is felt and never-ending breathing inside of its humbly strong matrix. And I said, "I am so sorry."

Cancer Season serves like a portalic opening, a space to relieve the mind of it's queries for just a time, and allow the full force of fertile feelings to rise rise rise, so that we may excavate the medicine our feelings are here to offer us.

I remember how the man I was dating in 2021 braved the waves to capture this photo of me. It was a serious act of love. He was consistently hurtled against jagged rocks and swept under the water by the swaying swells. These waves were wayyyyy bigger life-size than you can visualize in the image. Yet he would not give up. He relentlessly kept coming up for air, reaching his camera above the towering waters, and blindly snapping shots until he yelled at me over the sea-crashing titanic towers that we could be done.

Someone recently asked us, "What would it look like if you created a necklace that resembles the Total Solar Eclipse in Aries?" These fire-filled- Aries-infused-crystalline-lined cavernous pieces portray what that would look like. And they feel like doorways that have been brought to life from pure heart-striking AWE.

emergence (n.): the process of coming into view or becoming visible after being concealed. Today's Lunar Eclipse in Libra sheds equal parts shadow and light on the habits and patterns we continue to enact (past their expiration date) that have been pushing us back down underneath the soil instead of letting us feel safe enough to peel back and expose our budding petal wings.

Sometimes before I can write about the moon I have to actually live that moon. This full moon I wanted to allow it to do its thing and move through me vs. prescribe to myself what energies it was supposed to hold and where I should be placing my attention, lest it become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Ever since the Sun entered Pisces it's as if Ive been in some sort of dissolving phase like when the caterpillar becomes mush and molecules. A space of noticing and observing the parts that are falling away and I am just letting them drop from my fingertips without my typical death grip. Oddly I feel zero fear surrounding this current liminal space, just a constant and conscious curiosity. An allowing.

In celebration of Love, we honor the Stone of Truth today. Turquoise is one of the most ancient stones known to humankind and has long been a symbol of protection, strength, wisdom and of course, Truth.

Today's Sabian Symbols for the Moon, the Sun and Uranus- planet of revolution, change, and lightning strikes to the nerve synapses of our entire chakra system all point to the ideas of REINVENTION and METAMORPHOSIS.

We welcome in the midpoint between Winter and Spring every single year in Tucson in the midst of our sacred pilgrimage to the gem show. The separate rooms my mom and I each sleep in are both so dark they are like literal caves, but the weather outdoors is often sun-bright filled. Always grateful for whatever amount of Sun the West has to offer in the winter as a glimmer.

The Moon is at 7 degrees Gemini. This moon is also called the "Beaver Moon" and also, the "Mourning Moon. In Gagan traditions, since this is the last moon before the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere, it was honored as a symbol of release and letting go. With Mars and Saturn energies showing up as heavy hitters in the moon vibe of today, I personally could feel ancient rage that had been held in my body for far too long slowly and diligently breaking free all day yesterday.

The word Liminal comes from the Latin word "limen" meaning threshold. It is a time between. From "what was" to "what is next." It is like a doorway. An opening. A void. Depends on how you feel it and what perspective you adopt as you experience this "not-quite-knowing-yet" period.
