Sale price Price $350.00 Regular price

The name comes from the Greek words:

  • Helios (Ἥλιος) = Sun
  • Doron (δῶρον) = Gift

So Heliodor literally means "Gift of the Sun."

In Greek mythology, Helios was the original personification of the Sun.

Each morning he rose in the east in a blazing golden chariot pulled by fiery horses, crossing the sky and illuminating everything beneath him. At dusk, he descended into the western sea, only to journey through the underworld at night and rise again the next morning.

Helios was more than light itself.

He was the one who sees.

Because he traveled across the entire sky every day, nothing escaped his gaze. The gods often called upon Helios as a witness because he observed everything happening on Earth. He represents: illumiination. conscious integrity. soul-driven light. light of a new day. begin again.
