A soft cloud-white-pale-gray-veil-like moissanite catches the light like an open sky, clear and expansive, holding a quiet sense of possibility.

Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by the French scientist Henri Moissan, inside a meteor crater in Arizona. At first, he thought he had found diamonds.But later he realized it was something entirely different: silicon carbide--a crystal that had formed under extreme cosmic conditions.

Natural moissanite is incredibly rare on Earth. Most of what we use today is lab-grown, as are these diamonds, but it’s created by recreating those same intense conditions...essentially bringing a star-born structure into form.

So even modern moissanite still carries that origin story: a gemstone with extraterrestrial roots.
