XII. The Hanged Man: The Outsider

In the Pagan Otherworlds deck, The Hanged Man hangs serenely between heaven and earth, haloed in light, the image of surrender as initiation. He is not trapped but chosen, suspended in a sacred pause that changes everything. This is the archetype of reversal, of sacrifice that becomes revelation, of releasing control to receive illumination.

Amethyst - divine perception, quieting the mind so that higher wisdom can flow through-stone of the crown chakra and meditative awakening with what looks like a being holding magic in a temple doorway with golden imperial topaz on top which awakens confidence, optimism, and the joy that comes when one sees from a higher plane.
