The Ammonite Mollusk is a shelled cephalopod that typically had a spiral, coiled shape. They lived in the oceans but went extinct when the dinosaurs did. 

The name “ammonite” is derived from the name of an Egyptian god, Ammon, who took the form of a RAM (coiled horns.) 

Ammonite symbolizes evolution, constant cyclical change and is an "initiator" on our life path, increased the circulation of life-force, "chi", through our human bodies.
